We endeavour to function as a supporting body for Indian Students at CityU by creating a healthy and inclusive environment. Our primary function is to make sure that each Indian student at CityU feels at home and adjusts to life in Hong Kong- their home away from home.
We intend to promote Indian Culture in various forms through our activities, and build a representative Indian Identity to integrate with the international environment at CityU. Lastly, we envision a fraternity that is united by trust and faith in the ISA at CItyU.
As the Indian community at CItyU grew rapidly, the need for a student-led body to support and guide Indian students arose. With an aim to promote engagement and Indian heritage at City, undergraduate students Shoaib Shahul Hameed and Jai Jain founded the Indian Students Association of the City University of Hong Kong in 2019. The vision and the function of ISA has greatly evolved, since.Contact Us

All Indian passport holders are free to contest in elections and are given voting rights to choose the representatives of their choice, The election day is usually preceded by a canvassing period and a consultation session where the general public is free to ask questions to the proposed candidates. This process is free and fair in nature, reflecting India’s democratic values.
